Problem:
1 – Today, you can click on linked objects and rulesets in reviews and copilot messages and have them become selected. For objects, we also switch you to the object tab and for rulesets we switch you to the ruleset tab. Helpful, except that... we don't scroll the list so that selected object is in view. This is especially vexing for rulesets, where there is no corresponding object on the canvas to provide orientation.
2 – Selecting an object on canvas does not scroll it into view on the object list. This can make it annoying if what you want is to get orientation around its hierarchy, or actually select its parent, like a net.
Solution: scroll any selected item into view.
  • If you click on an object on the canvas and the object list is open, scroll that selected object into view.
  • If you click on a link to an object, switch to the object tab (as today), and scroll to it
  • If you click on a link to a ruleset, switch tot he rules tab (as today), and scroll to it
