Library search - Exact match option

When I search for this part: C0603C105K7PAC7867 I will get pars showing up that are very close to it. It is confusing and I then need to start looking to compare part numbers. I would like a button to toggle exact match and only show the part that matches

This feature is actually already supported. If you enclose the search query in double quotes

(for example like this

"C0603C105K7PAC7867"

) the search should return results that exactly match your query. Please give it a try and let me know if it works as expected.

collinsemasi cool - so while that works, the feature has a discovery problem. Id still like it to remain a feature as a toggle icon button to leave turned on and perhaps in the form submission backend you can quietly wrap the string in quotes? Just makes it very obvious.
