I found it challenging to connect the parts I needed as they were in Eagle file form, which wasn't easily accessible in your system. I had to switch to KiCad, which allowed me to manually layout the traces and had the footprint libraries I required. I suggest making it easier and more obvious for beginners to use Flux for laying out traces for simple PCBs.
