Also, there is a usual scenario that some part is out of stock and you need to change Manufacturer Part Number and maybe Manufacturer Name.
For example, 500 Ohm resistors "SR1206JR-0710KL" from "Yageo" is out of stock now and I need to update about 50 part at my project "TeensyMoog" to "ERJ-8GEYJ103V" from "Panasonic Electronic Components"

What things would you like to batch edit?
Just parts of the same type or also mixed?

Matthias: I think that we can use sub group(screenshot 3) or some find and select tool.
Also, if I select two or more components I expect to see the common properties with a possibility to edit them.
In Altium, if I select two or more elements(part, net, label, text, etc.) I will see all common parameters and if some parameter didn't match with all another I will see the "*" symbol.
In screenshot 1 I selected 4 resistors with the same values and I see that designators and Y location are different but other parameters are the same.
But if I select resistor and power symbol(screenshot 2) the common parameters will be only location and line color, so I can edit only these parameters for this group.

I know copy and pasting will do the trick in here, but that just for when you're just starting on a clean project. But what if you already have schematic diagram, everything are already laid out and everything are already connected. And you just missed to add 1 to 2 properties on all of the capacitors or crystals, or you want to select those set of resistors that should have 100k ohm instead of 10k. That's a pain because you have to select each of them then edit one at a time.
