Comments should close when any interaction is taken on the canvas. This is true for PCB but not for Schematic.
Today, comments only close when these actions are taken:
  • On Schematic: the canvas is clicked or another comment pin is clicked, ESC is tapped.
  • On PCB: the canvas is clicked, any object is clicked, a wiring touch point is clicked, another comment pin is clicked, area select is used, ESC is tapped.
We're missing on schematic:
  • an object is selected.
  • area select is used (even when nothing gets selected as a result).
  • wiring initiates.
