Hey Ray Zeune
Thank you for reaching out with regards to thermal relief. The object specific rule responsible for that is called "Thermal Relief". Select the component you want to apply the rule then add the object specific rule to it.
For additional information on it, please read the documentation here: https://docs.flux.ai/reference/layout-rules-types#thermal-relief
Reach out if you have additional questions on it.
Best regards

collinsemasi I have tried and failed to find the "Thermal Relief" object rule you referred to. I've selected various components - caps, diodes, connectors - then in the right side panel under Layout Rules->Object Specific Rules->Add and there is no rule available for "Thermal Relief", "Thermal Connect" or "Direct Connect". This shouldn't be this hard. And I believe Flux has it backwards. I should be able to select "Thermal relief" as the default for the entire board, then change individual components to direct connect if needed. That is, in my experience, far more common than having direct connect as the default.
Please advise.
