Sorry I had missed this message from you. This issue seems to be resolved on the test project we had cloned. Can you confirm on your end if the selected trace width still reverts to some default trace width and does not respect your choice?

collinsemasi - hey - yeah it is still happening all over the place. Changing layers with via's results in different layer size traces, and dragging off existing traces also results in various sizes being applied. It is the case where it is the exception rather than the rule, that I will need to modify every single trace, which is pretty time consuming. A pretty simple test path for you would be to add 5 components to a new project and route traces across all layers with various origin trace widths to see how the traces are being modified dynamically.

This is a good find, thank you. I've been able to repro the case where trace segments change their trace widths when switching layers and which dragging trace segments.
