It's an old and NOT critical bug but an annoying one.
If on the PCB you need to change a designator of the object, for example, a Text object then editing will be slow.

Marking this one as completed - with a refactor in state management infra, we optimized the code to handle this operation and so it is faster now, even tho we still have many places to improve, which are under our radar and are part of our Q4 goals.
