After a user first signs up, the initial list of example projects does not auto-populate in their profile page.

When a user creates a new Flux account, they used to have multiple sample projects created for them immediately.
Now, the project list is empty for new users until they log out and back in.
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new Flux account
- Note there are no starter projects to choose from
- Log out
- Log back in, note the projects are now there
