Problem with making custom pcb shape

Hi. When i try to make a custom PCB shape i add the DXF file but nothing happens or i get a giant triangle. This happens even tho I use the same DXF in both the root and the genereal "assets".

Hi Asger Thue!

This is likely because the DXF file doesn't meet the requirements to be used as a layout shape (https://docs.flux.ai/tutorials/custom-pad-shapes#shape-requirements). Make sure the DXF:

Lines need to form a single closed shape.
Do not include any holes or cutouts. Those will need to be added afterward using holes.
Multiple lines need to be converted into a single line (polyline for SVG).

If that still doesn't work, feel free to send the DXF file and I'll take a look

Asger Thue there might be something wrong with your export. This is what I see when I try to open it with other CAD tools.

I see It might be because it is made on a school license. I will try with inkskabe then
