Not able to avoid middle wire wile connecting two points in the schematic.

In the schematic when I am trying to connect two points, I am getting third point automatically if there is a wire going in the middle of those two points. It started suddenly.

What would also be helpful is a short screen recording of this happening, if possible, eg using loom.com

It seems the wires that are connecting belong to the same net, in which case the behavior you see would be expected. We'd like to check and confirm that that is not the case before we proceed to investigate the issue.
