I am trying to create a part. When I upload a .kicad_mod file to the assets, then try to add the asset in the object specific rule, the footprint does not load at all...This is extremely annoying since the components library is skimpy and now it's impossible to load your own parts.

Josiah Ferguson: Thanks a lot! I can reproduce the issue. Something's wrong with the footprint file. I loaded another kicad_mod, it worked just fine.

I wonder where did you get the footprint? Was it from here? https://www.digikey.com/en/models/3262876

Jharwin: Interesting, and yes, that’s where I got it from. Let me try another footprint file to see if it’s happening from another source.

Jharwin: So I tried uploading a similar component (6 pole connector) and it worked. However, I just tried uploading another connector from Digikey and got this error ..."Error generating PCB data! Reload the page." Reloading the page does nothing. Not sure what is happening or if Flux isn't playing nicely with Digikey footprint files.

I tried uploading various footprints from Mouser Electronics, opposed to Digikey, with better luck.

But now the footprint's are missing in my project when I try to integrate the component. The component is loading perfectly with the footprint, just not with the project.
