Steps to reproduce

  2. Export and inspect the bom file
  3. Compare the contents in the schematic vs the ones in the bom
  4. Open U2 in a new window and inspect the objects list in the pcb view
Expected results
  • Expect to see 3 components in the bom file because the schematic has 3 components
  • Expect to see
    Root
    >
    Footprint
    and
    Model
    under
    root
    .
Actual results
  • Only see two components in the bom although the project has 3 components in it.
  • U2 is excluded because it has an additional
    layout
    object which has an empty
    component
    object
