Broken schematic editor functionality on Chrome

There is no toolbar. I have tried expanding the view on the right sidebar and the panels option is not showing. Also, the "I" key command does not open the inspector. I can't do a ground fill because the toolbar is not showing. Also, the wires all connect but I get a ton of airwire warnings.

Hi Matt Hamilton, thanks for reporting this. I'm struggling to reproduce this on my end in Chrome. That panels etc seem to be working fine for me, but obviously that's not the case for you. Could you please take a quick screen video (using eg loom.com) and post it here so I can see what's happening for you?

Hi Matt Hamilton, I've looked at these screenshots further now and have thought about your comments. I could be wrong, but I think what's happening here is that you're expecting Flux to behave like a different tool. Perhaps you're looking at the manual for a different product?
But to hopefully set things in a helpful direction, here's how I think you would do what you're wanting to do in Flux:
- Flux does not have a global toolbar. There is a small toolbar that appears if you select an object in PCB, and that gives some common actions.
- You don't need to do anything to enable ground fills; they are automatic when you have anything connected to ground. However, they are hidden by default. To make them visible, go to the "Layer" menu in PCB, and click the teardrop icon on the layers you wish to see the fill.
- The "I" key does not open the Inspector in Flux. However, you can open the Inspector simply by clicking on an object on the canvas (in Schematic or in PCB), and then ensure the "Inspect" tab on the right is selected.
- It looks like the wires are connected in Schematic, but these do not have connecting traces in PCB. This is why there are airwire warnings, and you can also see these airwires in PCB (the thin white diagonal lines). To resolve the warnings and get rid of the airwires, simply place traces between the various pads in PCB that should be connected. Note you will want to position your components as desired first.
I hope that helps!
