AI chat window disappears after a browser refresh. This caused the AI bot to run and consume all my months credits, now I am unable to use it for this month.

Hi coolio986
That is super weird, could you give user "Support" access to the project for us to take a look?
c
coolio986
collinsemasi I have been able to reliably reproduce this issue a few times now.
I have two projects that are doing this
Disciplinary Black Carbonite Freezer
and
ip2368

coolio986: Support now has access, thank you. I'll flag this internally now.

coolio986
collinsemasi what about my lost credits?
Dirk Stoop
coolio986, we had a bug with our feature rollout mechanism and your account was inadvertently selecting a new version of the agent that’s not fully baked yet. It should be fixed now.
These sessions shouldn’t have consumed any credits, and I see over 264 included credits left for December in your account. Are you seeing any credit limit warnings?
c
coolio986
Dirk Stoop The issue is I was unable to open the projects or do anything useful during the trial period. Credits were consumed, but since my account was selected on the new version I don't feel that I was given an accurate representation of what could have been. It would be great if my credits could be reinstated so I can start the trial over.
Dirk Stoop
coolio986 Ah, I see, thanks for explaining. Yes, I agree, we definitely want you to be able to take Flux for a proper spin during your trial.
I've just reset your 14-day trial period to restart tomorrow, and I'll make sure we also reset your credit balance so you can start with a blank slate. I can't make the needed change for that right now, but will make sure we get that done asap. I'll drop you another line here when it's done.
Dirk Stoop
coolio986 I've doubled your free credits for this month, which effectively gives you another 500 free credits. I also set up our billing system with a credit, to avoid that you get charged for the paid credits you used earlier.
Happy trialing!

Dirk Stoop Thank you!

Dirk Stoop I just added a new project and requested the AI to wire 5 leds. It consumed all the credits you added all in a few seconds. Is that normal? Should I expect that to happen if I buy a subscription?
If that is normal, it will costs thousands of dollars for just a few requests
This issue happened on several occasions as well.
Dirk Stoop
coolio986 can you share access to the project with the "@support" account so I can take a look? that doesn't sound normal
c
coolio986
Dirk Stoop I just added this
Dirk Stoop
coolio986 can you try again? please make sure to "Add" support and then click "Done" in the Share dialog
c
coolio986
Dirk Stoop just added again.
Dirk Stoop
coolio986 thank you! I can see the project now, yeah something is definitely still very wrong. I'm investigating now.
Dirk Stoop
coolio986, okay, it should be fixed now. I've also reset your included credits again. Please give it another shot.
Your are probably experiencing this issue because an ad blocker or other domain-based traffic blocker is preventing your machine from fetching configuration parameter for Flux. Are you using anything like that?
I ask because, if that's the case, you might run into other mysterious bugs.
c
coolio986
Dirk Stoop I don't have any ad blockers that I am aware of. I will give it a try again.
Dirk Stoop
coolio986 Sounds good! I'm really sorry for all this hassle. Please let me know how it goes.

coolio986
Dirk Stoop Something is still wrong. I asked AI to add net connections and it responded with a net connection list which it asked me to apply. I clicked apply, but the net connections were not added. I did this a few times each resulting in no connection being made. The third time around it made the connections but used a large portion of the credits for such a simple task. If this is expected usage, it doesn't seem like the credits get much work done for the cost. Is this normal?
Dirk Stoop
coolio986, that’s very odd. None of what you’re experiencing is expected.
I’ve called in some additional help to get to the bottom of this. Please sit tight, we’ll get back to you as soon as we know more.
Dirk Stoop
coolio986, I just wanted to let you know that one of our engineers worked on this issue today and we have a deeper, more complete fix for the issue in the works. We need to do a bit more work before the changes can land, and I want to do more internal testing before I'll ask you to try again.
I'll let you know as soon as I know more.
