Add STEP files to the export options. STL files are good for 3D printing but contain a lot less information when working with mechanical CAD tools. That makes a STL file harder to edit.

The ability to export to Altium makes it easier for PCB design for Altium users. (from Brittany at http://viam.com/ )

When I try to export my project as a Gerber file it just says "Oops! Flux couldn’t export this project to Gerber. Please report this error to Flux." What should I do? Any help would be great! https://www.flux.ai/jpthegoat/sgp30-2k-breakout-board?editor=schematic

If I fork a part and want to make a small edit to the svg for example, I don't have access to the svg file since I didn't originate it. A download asset feature would also help somewhat for this: https://feedback.flux.ai/featurerequests/p/adding-svgs-as-a-library-in-flux

This is NOT Schematic PDF Export. I'm proposing we implement export of each layer as PDF in addition to gerbers. It's common practice to print out your top and bottom layer on paper to check for footprint accuracy with the real part before ordering the board. I suspect that KiCad already has support for this and we may be able to expose it to users without too much dev work.

It would be very helpful to be able to order a PCB from a manufacturer directly from Flux.

Exported KiCAD schematics produce broken results in many cases.

I don't want to remake my PCBs so exporting to MentorPad would be great.

The Feedback FAB and Drawer take up too much space in the embed mode of Flux. Plus, they don't provide value to a casual onlooker, which is the target user of that mode. Therefore, I suggest we hide it for that mode.

Cannot Export the Image png - but it gives you the open in Main Menu. Jharwin says that it should work for Schematic (and it does for me) - but maybe we disable the dropdown option for PCB.
