Feature Requests

The schematic is very dark and can be hard to read with the black background. Would be nice with a "Light mode" in addition to the current dark mode.

When dealing with manufacturing is important to be able to know which version was manufactured. It's currently possible to use the version ID, but it'd be great if we could add human-readable names/tags to the version history.

When I copy/paste terminals from one part to another, I need to keep the terminal designator value the same after the paste as before copy. I see that I have these values in JSON structure but Flux changing this value after the paste command. We need this as we working on adding pin number information to ALL parts and without this feature, we can't move on.

The key here is that this should persist across sessions. Users want to review the part updates, choose not to accept them, and then not be reminded about it next session.

Would absolutely LOVE, LOVE a split view feature where I can see both schematic and PCB views side by side.

It was confusing on a smaller screen why the parts browser disappeared. I'd love to have the menu item to slide in and out the side panels and perhaps a default home size. Also could use a slide bar on the schematic screen to get around this issue. Maybe horizontal and vertical.

Currently when you switch between different editors the selection and scroll position resets in the library, it would be great to remember that so it's easier to continue

Imagine plugins with coda/notion. Then you can have documentation that lives with the document. V0 could just be html embed. V1 could have link data from tables to comments. V2 could create tables inside coda from problems panel, properties, etc. Another dope plugin would be E&M field simulators for the PCB. This would be similar to how OnShape provides FEA analysis/advanced shaping tools (they don't).

It's not possible to undo the movement of a metamodule using Command Z, the Undo menu item, or the Change History. So if someone intentionally or accidentally moves a label for a pin on schematic, they cannot easily undo that action.

Add a high contrast color pallete for folks like myself who have some degree of color blindness
